Abstract

To compare the Health Related Quality Of Life (HRQOL) and Health related behaviour among people with NCDs in rural & urban Tamil Nadu. To determine the factors influencing the HRQOL among people with NCDs in rural & urban Tamil Nadu. Among the people with NCDs, rural people had a better quality of life compared to urban people. Health related behaviours like physical activity and diet patterns, complication like neuropathy and health seeking behaviour have a significant effect on the quality of life. Improvement in health care facilities and health seeking behaviour can enhance the health related quality of life of people with NCDs.
