Abstract

A Study To Assess The Effectiveness Of Structured Teaching Programme On Knowledge Regarding Human Rights Of Mentally Ill Among Caregivers Of Mentally Ill Client at a Selected Hospital, Coimbatore. Objectives: To assess the level of knowledge regarding human rights of mentally ill among the caregivers of mentally ill clients. To administer structured teaching programme regarding human rights of mentally ill among caregivers of mentally ill clients. To evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on level of knowledge regarding human rights of mentally ill among caregivers of mentally ill clients. To find out the association between selected demographic variables with the post test knowledge score of caregivers of mentally ill clients. Assumptions: Caregivers of mentally ill possess decreased knowledge on human rights of mentally ill. By creating awareness about human rights of mentally ill caregivers provide effective care to the mentally ill client. Knowledge on human rights of mentally ill help the caregivers to modify the standard of care.
