Abstract
The studfy in Siddha system of medicine, kazhichal is also known as Athisaaram. Bedhi, kirani. As chenduram made from minerals have a long shelf life period when compared to herbal products, I have taken Padigalinga chenduram, as a medication for Kazhichal.The aim of this study is to do a scientific review to validate the Anti diarroeal,Anti spasmodic, and Anti pyretic activity of „PADIGA LINGA CHENDURAM‟ for Diarrhoeal by pre-clinical studies.Padiga linga chenduram was selected for the elaborate study of its efficacy on Kazhitchal (diarrhoea). From the literature review, Physico-chemical, Pharmacological, Microbiological, Biochemical, Instrumental analysis, It has been concluded that Padiga linga chenduram has got a good Anti-diarrhoeal, Anti-pyretic, and Antispasmodic hence effective for diarrhoea.
