Abstract

A simple, Accurate, precise method was developed for the simultaneous estimation of the Metformin and Canagliflozin in tablet form the retention times (Rt’s) of Metformin and Canagliflozin were found to be 3.366min and 2.032min. Percentage RSD of the Metformin was found to be 0.8 and for Canagliflozin was 0.54 and the % Recoveries were gained as 100.3% for Metformin and 100.0% for Canagliflozin. LOD, LOQ values are from regression equations of Metformin and Canagliflozin were 0.575, 0.058ppm and 1.741, 0.176ppm resp. Regression equation of Metformin is y = 10531x + 83.14, Canagliflozin is and y = 48794x + 728.2. In this proposed method retention times (Rt’s) were decreased so the method developed was simple and economical that can be adopted in regular Quality control test in Industries.
