Abstract
This studies is entitled Pharmacognostic, Phytochemical,Antithyroid, Antioxidative and Antihyperglycemic evaluation of Artemisia nilagirica.C.B.clarke(Compositae) The review of literature revealed very little information on the pharmacognostic and pharmacological work of the leaves of Artemisia nilagirica.Hence it was decided to carry out the work on macroscopic and microscopic studies.It revealed the following characters which will play an important role in the authentication of crude drug and will also be useful for the detection of adulteration.
