INTRODUCTION: Many studies reported that the practice of Naturopathy, especially with hydrotherapy treatment, influences in improving Renal function. The current study was conducted to determine the effect of using Renal Pack in Nephrolithiasis patients. AIM OF THE STUDY: To evaluate the effect of Renal pack on patients with Nephrolithiasis. OBJECTIVES: 1. To observe the changes in USG (Ultrasonography) before and after the study of Renal pack on Patients with Nephrolithiasis. 2. To observe the changes in VAS (Visual Analog Scale) score while during the study period in a week of Renal pack on patients with Nephrolithiasis. STUDY DESIGN: Randomized Control Trial. METHOD: A total of 60 study subjects belonging within the age group of 30-55 years, participated in the study. The study participants were randomized into intervention and control group. The intervention group participants will be given Renal pack for 30 minutes for 20 days (5 days/week for 4 weeks) along with conventional medicine. Control group will be only under conventional medicine. After 4 weeks again USG and VAS score will be recorded for both groups. RESULT: The study showed significant improvement in the USG and VAS Score values of the study participants. The symptomatic changes observed to be significantly improved with renal pack among study participants. CONCLUSION: The practice of hydrotherapy mediated Renal Pack facilitates in symptomatic changes and strengthening the renal function significantly.
