Since this mode of acute disease, the reactivity of vital force is rapid and therefore the cure will be. The efficacy of homoeopathic remedies in acute diseases are also in the great question which direct us to this study in acute disease with the help of Symptom Register. Moreover, the Global burden of disease 2015 reported that acute cases has the incidence more towards the infectious diseases including upper respiratory tract infection (17.2 billion), diarrhoeal diseases (2.39 billion) and injuries (more than 10%) around 2 billion cases in 2015. The diarrhoeal diseases and lower respiratory diseases were included among the individual cause of the DALYs in India 2016. This is also piloting us towards the acute diseases. OBJECTIVES: 1. To study Symptom Register as a tool for indicating simillimum in homoeopathic management of acute diseases. 2. Clinical verification on Symptom Register in acute diseases. 3. Generate data on frequently used rubric in treatment of acute diseases. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A sample of 30 cases diagnosed cases of Acute diseases, who had visited the OPD, IPD and Rural centers of Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical college, were randomly selected for the study. Cases were recorded in the pre structured SKHMC case format. Necessary investigations were done. Repertorization was done by taking Characteristic symptom of the patient. Prescription was done with reference to standard text books of Materia Medica also. Potency selection and repetition were done according to the principles laid down in the Organon of medicine. Observations were noted in tables and charts. Results were subjected to descriptive and inferential analysis and hypothesis was tested. The usage of Rubrics of Symptom Register in treating acute diseases were analyzed. RESULT: This study had shown that 30 – 39 years of age population and both sexes equally of 53.34% Female and 46.67% Male had been affected mostly due to many acute diseases. This study also revealed that most indicated potencies for treating acute cases are 30C and 200C. The mean of Severity Assessment Score of 30 acute cases is 14.37 on Day 1; 8.7 on Day 2; 3.76 on Day 3; 1.5 on Day 4; 0.5 on Day 5; 0.23 on Day 6 and 0 on Day 7. The mean value of score is reducing day by day with reduction by half in next day on comparing with previous day.
