Urinary Tract Infection is one of the important causes of morbidity and mortality in Indian population, affecting all age groups especially women. The miasmatic approach in recurrent lower urinary tract infection helps in removal of fundamental cause of the disease, so that recurrence will be reduced. This study is to understand the role of miasmatic management in recurrent lower urinary tract infection and also to study about the common predisposing factors, remedies indicated and the most suitable potency indicated in the treatment of recurrent lower urinary tract infection. Purposive selection of 30 cases of patients with recurrent lower urinary tract infection was taken and analyzed and the totality was framed followed by the miasmatic remedy prescription. The symptom score is recorded using the symptom score chart and changes in the subsequent follow up is recorded and the statistical analysis is carried out. The result of the study obtained that the improvement was up to 75% showing that the miasmatic approach were effective in managing such cases. 200 potency was found useful. Cantharis was indicated in the majority of the cases. The result of the study drawn that the management of recurrent lower urinary tract infection with the miasmatic approach in the correct selection of potency is very effective.
