Abstract

One of the Prime motives of a medicinal chemist is service to medicine Medicinal chemists may have been stimulated by the need of the sick for drugs. By contributing therapeutic agents, medicinal chemists have made possible, some of the proudest and most spectacular achievements of human and veterinary medicine. Some novel 2,3-disubstituted-3H-Quinazolin-4-one derivatives with the aim and to get more potent drug for the treatment of Anti tumor and microbial infectious diseases. The structure of the compounds was confirmed by spectral analysis. The synthesized 2,3-disubstituted-3H-Quinazolin-4-one derivatives exhibited moderate to good Anti oxidant, Anti tumor and Anti-microbial activity. Among those Compounds C-GY, C-GU, C-TP, and CTY were found to be the most potent compound with Promising Anti-Oxidant activity. C-GU, C-T were found to exhibit good Anti-Cancer activity and Compound C-GY, C-HS, and CHH were found to be a good Anti Microbial agent. Further studies on its possible mechanism and in vivo trials in experimental animals to broaden their Pharmacological assessment, may provide a new analogue that can overcome the side effects of existing anti tumor agents .
