Abstract

Disaster event is a catastrophic event needs a first aid measures in emergency situations. The study focused on effectiveness of computer assisted instruction on knowledge and expressed practice regarding first aid measures for disaster event among the students at selected Arts colleges, Thanjavur. Quasi experimental (Non-equivalent control group design was used among 80 students by using purposive sampling technique. The knowledge questionnaire and expressed practice questionnaire were given to assess the knowledge and expressed practice. Where as in control group knowledge
