Abstract

Health of women is highly dependent on their menstrual cycle. Prior to the cycle certain women experience changes in physiological and psychological level that interferes in their daily life. This change in premenstrum is called as a premenstrual syndrome and the severity of the symptoms of PMS is classified under Premenstrual dysphoric disorder. According to various epidemiological surveys, clinical trials and other studies suggest high prevalence of women who are unaware of the fact. This burden considered being 12.2% from the 2013 survey in western India and many treatment methods were used. This study aims at the optimizing women’s mental health through Homoeopathic intervention with the help of remedy selection tool- Minton’s uterine therapeutics. The study has included 30 samples of cases through convenient sampling technique. Each case are taken in detail and recorded according to the criteria’s. The sample of cases are worked out and analyzed statistically. The study concluded after statistical analysis with t (stat) 45.54 which is more than the significance level at 5% and 1% as in tabled value. As a result concluded that the efficacy of Homoeopathic treatment with Minton’s uterine therapeutic was effective and the symptomatology associated with menstrual cycle in PMDD are provided in the Minton’s uterine therapeutic.
